These patterns are created with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. They’re intended to be viewed and experienced on screen, as light color is quite different from reflected color. I start with a photo, simple geometric shape, or public-domain image of an engraving. I experiment with color, multiple repeats, and rotations.
